CRM Focuses on Youths

A football match was offered to attract votes from young people.

The playing ground of the Government School in New-Deido was Sunday jammed to brim following a sumptuous football match organised in favour of youths of the neighbourhood.

Kwa Moutome Francis, who heads the council list for the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) in the Douala I municipality, said during council and legislative campaign launch that it is using activities like football matches to rally the youth population together, while canvassing for votes.

Party staff believe that focusing more on young people, who constitute a larger portion of the national population, is a way to secure victory. In the same way, it adheres to the fact that giving the youths a rightful place in the management of the council, economy and politics of the country is another way of giving them access to professional training and employment.

"It is a rightful investment to leave a prosperous Cameroon to young people," he stressed. Also they hold that youths are the architect and beneficiary of all actions of the party. As a result, CRM intends to build multidimensional partnerships in order to enlarge development of the council area as well as support every just course that will propel community well-being.
