The modernisation of the organs of the Cameroon People\'s Democratic Movement, CPDM party has effectively kicked off in the North West Region.
The Bemenda Congress Hall was the venue for the high level party meeting that saw the installation of Philemon Yang installed as Permanent Regional Delegate of the CPDM in North West Region.
Prime Minister - Head of Government Philemon Yang in his capacity as CPDM Regional Permanent Representative was commissioned alongside seven other permanent Divisional delegates who assist in mobilising CPDM supporters in the region.
The Permanent Delegates were installed by Central Committee Secretary General Jean Kuete. On the occasion, he called for solidarity among militants and said Bamenda as the baptismal city of the party is source of pride for all CPDM supporters.
The permanent representatives are expected to ensure the proper functioning of which have been setup by the CPDM party to enhance the mobilisation of supporters at the grass roots.
They newly commissioned delegates are also expected to improve the performance of the CPDM during different political elections.
The installation comes after the CPDM congress in Yaounde that saw the renewable of the structural organs of the party.
