Célestine Ketcha sentenced to one year in prison

The verdict issued by the Court of appeal in the Littoral in the case of Queen Fish opposing the current Mayor of Bangangté and his brother Célestin Ketchanga Thursday, January 8, 2015.

The Court of appeal in the Littoral issued its verdict on Thursday, in the case of Queen Fish, between Célestine Ketcha, épouse Courtes, Mayor of Bangangté aFrancs to Célestin Ketchanga, as compensation for the moral prejudice.nd brother Célestin Ketchanga. Thus, judges of the Court of appeal in the Littoral sentenced her to one year in prison with a three-year pardon and the payment of a sum of 15 million Cfa

The Mayor of Bangangté was also fined an amount of 167, 100 CFA francs by the Court with a 9 months detention.

The decision by the judges of the Court of appeal was however not satisfactory to the Council of the municipal magistrate who intends to appeal to the Supreme Court.
