Buea bar manager stabbed to death

Prince Kevin Elysée, the popular manager of a snack bar in Muea, was stabbed with a dagger on the stomach and on the head in his own beer parlour by a customer in the night of April 13, 2014.

Salei Mohamadou, 28, is in police custody as a suspect helping to unveil the clues. Police sources say the incident took place at about 10 pm in the bar in front of many customers. The victim was then rushed to a clinic in Molyko were he gave up the ghost at 11 pm.

Upon getting news of popular Prince Kevin’s death, the population congregated at the Third District Police Station in Muea demanding access to lynch Mohamadou. It was only thanks to the prompt intervention of Commissioner Tazisong Christopher who immediately moved the suspect to the Buea Police Charge Office.

Prince Kevin hailed from Dschang (Menoua Division) in the West Region and is said to be a student in the Advanced School of Public Works Annex in Buea.

The corpse is presently lying in the Buea Regional Hospital Mortuary.
