Boko Haram strikes Cameroon again

The Nigerian Islamic group Boko Haram last night staged a series of attacks deep within the Extreme Nord region of Cameroon in the Fotokol locality found in the Logone and Chari Division.

Cameroon Concord's contact person in Maroua the chief town in the Extreme Nord region reported that the Boko Haram militants burned down houses and killed one of the village chiefs of Fotokol.

The Cameroon army again responded pushing the militants back into their hideout in northern Nigeria.
