Boko Haram rocket kills 3 Cmr'nian, 5 Nigerian intelligence officers

A Boko Haram rocket has hit a secret Cameroon-Nigeria military facility located at Amchide killing 3 Cameroon military personnel and 5 Nigerian soldiers Cameroon Concord has learnt.

The Boko Haram rocket attack has been blamed on Cameroon and Nigerian service men with links to the Islamic sect.

Over the week end, the Cameroon army launched a major offensive against the Anti Balaka rebels infiltrating Cameroon from the Central Africa Republic.

40 Anti Balaka rebels were captured in the Garoua-Boulai deep within the Lom and Djerem Division in the East Region.

The Cameroon army has ever since been engaged in two wars-in the Extreme North Region against Boko Haram militants from Nigeria and in the East with rebels fighting the Central African government.
