Boko Haram kills 20, makes away with 200 oxen

20 people have been killed during an attack by suspected Nigerian Islamic sect Boko Haram in a remote village at the Cameroon-Nigeria border on Friday morning, a military source told Xinhua via telephone.

The activities of Boko Haram have been reduced in Cameroon due to the joint operation by the armies of Chad and Cameroon since February 16.

Out of the sight of the positions occupied by the Cameroon and Chadian joint forces, a group of militants on Friday morning attacked Blabine, a place at the border of Cameroon and Nigeria, killing 20 people and taking away 200 oxen, according to an unofficial toll released to Xinhua by the military source.
