Boko Haram is among us - Cavaye Djibril

The terrorists of Boko Haram Islamic sect from neighbouring Nigeria were repulsed by the forces of the Cameroonian army, who valiantly defended the safety of citizens sometimes risking their lives.

However, for some time, the heavy weapons attacks have gradually disappeared in favour of suicide attacks that are just as victims.

It would be incongruous to ask whether these "human bombs" really cross the border of Nigeria and Cameroon to come without getting caught by the border police and the security system set up by the state as part of the fight against terrorism.

Cavayé Yéguié Djibril, President of the National Assembly, has twice stated that "Boko Haram is among us."

According to La Nouvelle Expression of Thursday, January 14, 2016, he made his remarks during the visit of Guillaume Soro, President of the Ivorian National Assembly.

He has thus held to draw attention to the fact that terrorists may well be Cameroonians, who for one reason or another, decided to engage in destructive activity.

"When we observe well, these suicide bombers are usually intercepted when they arrive in Cameroonian villages which share the border with Nigeria. This is to make believe they did not come from far away," says an official of a humanitarian NGO based in Maroua.

Moreover, it would be difficult to understand the motives of Boko Haram who originally advocated the fact of not wanting Western education, but wanting to refuse "the West" fighting with Western weapons remains difficult to explain.

Islam is the sect for the source of all motivation. However, the attacks against the mosques are becoming more common and young Cameroonians are kidnapped and come back as suicide bombers to attack their villages.
