Boko Haram days will be counted after Yaounde Summit- Tchiroma

Communication Minister, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, who doubles as government Spokesman has said countdown to the total annihilation of the terrorist group, Boko Haram begins Monday, February 16 with the holding of an Extraordinary Summit of the Council for Peace and Security in Central Africa (COPAX) in Yaoundé.

Tchiroma made the declaration to the press last February 14 during a press conference in the Ministry of Communication. He stated that “Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of Central African States, ECCAS, and the International Community will during this Yaoundé Summit adopt final strategies to wipe out this group of bandits who claim to belong to a religion by tarnishing the image of the Muslim religion.
