Houses were burnt by suspected Boko Haram members on Thursday night in Manawatchi, a village located 4 km from Kerawa.
According to l’Œil du Sahel newspaper, the incident occurred after an incursion of twenty members of the Boko Haram sect.
The terrorists seemed to have arrived in the village on motorbikes to commit the crime, the newspaper reported.
No loss of life was recorded.
This umpteenth attack by members of the Boko Haram sect came a day after the tour of the new Defense Minister Joseph Beti Assomo in the Far North Region.
