Boko Haram attacks Cmr's Achigachia

The Nigerian Islamic militant group Boko Haram launched a large scale of violent attacks on Achigachia the last Cameroon settlement in the Extreme Nord region towards the borders with Nigeria earlier today.

Security sources say they met with a crushing response from the Cameroon military.

In a letter addressed to the Head of State and Commander of the armed forces President Paul Biya requesting permision to embark on cross border raids, the Cameroon military hierachy stated that Boko Haram has complete and total control of Achigachia town in Nigeria which is separated by a river from Cameroon’s Achigachia.
