Boko Haram: New proof Abubakar Shekau is still alive

An audio message in which several experts deemed authentic, the head of the ex-Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, has addressed the world and in particular, the head of the Nigerian State Muhammadu Buhari.

“I'm alive, we are alive. This is my voice. It's me Shekau. After several months of silence, Abubakar Shekau surfaces.” In the audio message posted on social networks this weekend, the leader of the West African Group of the Islamic State wanted to clear rumors.

His last video dates back to February this year. And until his message last month, his invisibility in the recent communication from the ex-Boko Haram has fed speculation about a possible disappearance.

In Hausa and Arabic, Abubakar Shekau addressed President Muhammadu Buhari and his intentions to win in three months.
