Boko Haram Camerounais is a myth - Comm Min

Issa Tchiroma Bakary Minister of Communication and spokesman for the ruling CPDM crime syndicate has dismissed the report of the existence of Boko Haram Camerounais calling it “an outrageous lie” by some media houses in Cameroon.

Issa Tchiroma Bakary painted in many newspaper reports as one of the most corrupt Cameroon government official ever, said Boko Haram is simply a terrorist group that originated from Nigeria and Cameroon like other neighboring countries is suffering from the spill-over effects.

Minister Issa Tchiroma, who spoke to local media earlier today made an appeal to the Cameroonian people not to pay attention to any media that is propagating the idea of a Boko Haram Camerounais.

He however accepted that Boko Haram has succeeded to recruit young Cameroonians particularly from the Extreme Nord Region.

Issa Tchiroma who hails from the Nord of Cameroon confirmed for the first time that the Cameroon Secret Service have arrested Abdoulaye Siddiki and Maitre Harissou two prominent close aides to former Minister of Territorial Administration Marafa Hamidou Yaya.

Asked then by Cameroon Concord’s Yaoundé City Intelligence reporter to explain why the arrest when Minister Marafa had long be jailed. Issa Tchiroma admitted that the arrest of Abdoulaye Siddiki and Maitre Harissou has nothing to do with the Boko Haram incursion into Cameroon.

The Nordist Minister maintained that it is an ongoing investigation that started some years ago. Cameroon Concord’s cream of journalists who participated in the Tchiroma press conference noted that no journalist believed what the Minister said in the press briefing this morning.
