Paul Biya, Cameroon Head State, sent Monday evening, René Emmanuel Sadi, the Minister of Territorial Administration and decentralization (MinatD) to his Nigerian counterpart Muhammadu Buhari.

According to a press release read on Cameroonian State radio, president Paul Biya, sent his Minister of Territorial Administration and decentralization (MinatD) on a mission, to Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian head of State.

"The Minister of Territorial Administration and decentralization, René Emmanuel Sadi, left Yaoundé yesterday bound for Abuja, Nigeria, bearer of a special message from the head of State to his Nigerian counterpart", said a press release signed by Martin Belinga Eboutou, the Director of the civil cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic.

The release does not specify the motives of the journey of the Cameroonian Minister. However, some indices suggest that the emissary of Paul Biya, is carrying a letter of invitation to Nigeria.

We remember that on the sidelines of the Summit of the African Union held in South Africa recently, the new Nigerian president had said that he planned to visit Cameroon. After his election, he had visited Niger and Chad, partners of Nigeria in the fight against the Boko Haram sect.

Note that since the election of the new Nigerian president, René Emmanuel Sadi is the third Minister to be put on a mission by Paul Biya to Nigeria, after Ahmadou Ali the Deputy PM in charge of relations with the assemblies and Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo'o, the Minister delegate at the Presidency in charge of defence (Mindef).
