Cameroonian and Chadian troops engaged in the fight against Islamist sect Boko Haram in the multinational joint force (MMF), the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) and Benin.

For several weeks, the complaints made by the men at the front about their conditions are increasingly propagated by some private local media. KOACI has been repeatedly contacted via SMS or phone calls by some elements of the Cameroonian army, who insisted on anonymity, on the payment of premiums are paid and food served to them.

Some military ran k stated that senior officers of the army are behind their troubles. These, profit from war and do not want it to end as indicated by whistleblowers, they earn much money.

It is this discomfort that led to an attempt by Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo'o to defuse the troops engaged in the Joint Multinational Force.

On September 11, the Cameroonian General Dobekréo Bouba took office as the head of the first sector of the Joint Multinational Force (JMF), based in Mora, responsible for the fight against Boko Haram.
