The Indomitable Lionesses did not spend their second night at the hotel Mont Febe in Yaounde without their performance bonuses of the 2015 World Women’s Football cup in Canada.

To end the disagreement which started on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 between the Lionesses and the finance ministry on the application of the new finance law by withdrawing 16.5% taxes off the bonuses of the players, President Paul Biya intervened.

The president took a sovereign manner to break the law by ordering the Ministry of Finance to pay the bonuses of the Lionesses exempt of taxes.

At the moment, each Lioness will receive the sum of 21 million CFA francs, made up of 15 million performance bonus at the World Cup and 6 million FCFA for two matches won against Ecuador (6-0) and Switzerland (2-1).

For their first participation in a Women's World Cup, the Lionesses have achieved the feat of reaching the 8th round of the finals. They were eliminated by China (0-1).
