Back to School: holiday makers colonise travel agencies

At this time, heavy tracfic can be noticed in almost all agencies transporting persons within the national territory.

Some of these travellers in the company of their parents and friends even have to wait for vehicles to come take them to their various destinations, an indication that there is an increase in the number holidays makers wanting to travel back home.

Form one students, lower sixth and newcomers in some boarding schools, supposed to resume before the official date have started taking off for school too.

According to Anita, a holiday maker we met at one of the travel agencies travelling to Bamenda, it might seem early for holiday makers to go back home but in her opinion, it will give her ample time to prepare for the D-day, 5th September 2016.

In the meantime, the Ministry, pedagogic administrators, parents and students are all teaming up for the start of the 2016 school year.
