Baby found dead in trash can in Yaounde

The lifeless body of a six-month-old baby girl was found in a trash can at the Ceper Junction at the Elig-Essono neighbourhood on the night of Thursday breaking Friday September 26, 2014.

Police Commissioner of the Yaounde First District Police Station, Yves Chedom, said they were alerted of the incident by a passer-by.

While Yves Chedom said the corpse has been taken away by the Yaounde Urban Council for burial, the Regional Delegation of the Judicial Police has opened investigation to track down the person responsible.
