Apology to Ms Aimee Mputu Lema

We published a photograph online of Ms Aimee Mputu Lema alongside an article headlined “Cameroonian mother remanded in €105k social welfare fraud case”.

We wish to point out that Ms Mputu Lema had absolutely nothing to do with the court case in question and was mistaken for the subject of the article.

We take this opportunity to apologize to Ms Mputu Lema for this grave error on our part and all the upset it has caused her and her family.
