André Fotso re-elected as the head of GICAM

The outgoing president of GICAM, André Fotso, has been reappointed by 179 votes out of 183 voters at the end of a vote Thursday in the economic metropolis, Douala.

In office for three years, this term will last 5 years through an amendment introduced in the meantime to the statutes of the main management body of the country.

Presented by the movement "active Alliance II", Mr. Fotso placed his new mandate under the sign of the mobilization of economic stakeholders around key sites that could allow Cameroon to win a growth point every year.

André Fotso also promised to intensify the dialogue between members of the GICAM, strengthen public-private dialogue platform, decisive actions in the direction of youth.
