Almost 48,000 candidates sit for Probatoire technique et professionnel

Almost 48,000 candidates have been registered to sit for the compulsory written tests of Probatoire technique et professionnel beginning Monday with science and technology.

After a busy school year, Matilda Mbarga, a final year accounting and management student of Lycée Technique d’Application in Yaoundé says she is ready to face the technical professional exam with ease on Monday.

"From the first quarter, I prepare my review and I have the strong conviction of having gone through my entire lessons well," said the young candidate.

According to statistics from the Office of the Bachelor of Cameroon (OBC), there will be 47,778 candidates running for the exam from that day until June 26. These include the sectors of tertiary science and technology and the patent technicians (ACA, ACC, CG, ESF, FIG, HOTO SES).

Candidates will face mandatory written and binding practical tests on Monday until Friday and professional practice tests from 22 to 26 June.

The candidates statistics in the Central region shows that 13, 342 candidates in 3,423 probationary technician registered for the tertiary sector of science and technology, 4706 for industrial technical education, 3359 for probationary patent technicians and 1854 for probationary patent industry technicians for tertiary science and technology.

In the schools, all the details are set in order to avoid any inconvenience. In the examination centers, everything is ready and the lists of candidates are displayed by rooms and the composition leaves are kept tidy, including the allocation of supervisors and table numbers.

The CBO has, for this purpose, took the necessary steps to ensure that the review takes place in calm and serenity in the ten regions.
