Aigle de la Menoua: German support committee to form soon

After a fleeting stint as player of Aigle royal de la Menoua in the 80s, Damascus Wamba Tazanou turned into a fervent supporter of this team.

To gather supporters and sympathizers of El Pacha resident in Germany, Damascus Tazanou promised to work upon his return to the establishment of a supporters group there.

Even the thousands of kilometers that separate Cameroon and Germany where he settled for several years have not been enough to sweeten his love for El Pacha.

Far from proclaiming it only orally, he also proclaims it with concrete actions.

This son of Menoua department has indeed enjoyed a stay on the soil of his ancestors to make a donation of equipment to this team. Made up of two sets of shirts and thirty shirts, this donation was officially handed over to the leaders of the yellow and black of Dschang.

This took place after the evaluation team meeting, on December 19. His gesture, says Wamba Tazanou Damascus, is to see the team attain professional status.

"For example in Germany where I am, when a team moves, players are dressed in uniform. That's why in addition to the two sets of jerseys in the colors of the team, I associated the two sets of shirts (white and blue colors) so that players can dress well in their various trips. Since professionalism must also be at this level," he explained.

Almost abandoned with El Pacha, Samuel Dongmo welcomed this gesture which motivated him in his ambition to help this team to continue playing the game. But to achieve this, he encourages other sons of Menoua, both inside and the diaspora to copy this example that comes from Germany.

"Menoua is the only department which features everything and receives nothing from those who speak in its name," he has observed.
