Adolphe Papy Doumbe Burial for March 15

The corpse of Adolphe Papy Doumbe, who died on January 29, 2014, at the Laquintinie Hospital in Douala following an episode of illness that lasted 45 days, will be laid to rest at the Logbessou neighbourhood on March 15, 2014.

Separate night vigils with corpse will be organised on March 13 to be attended solely by politicians and media men and women and the other on March 14 for religious and cultural bodies. An ecumenical service and a series of special requiems are due to intersperse the March 14 funeral at Logbessou.

The information was disclosed by the Bassa Township Traditional Chief and President of the Organisation Committee for the funeral of Adolphe Papy Doumbe, Mbodi Epee Gaston, during a news briefing at the Royal Palace of the Bassa Township in Wouri at Ndogbong on March 4, 2014.
