Accident On Prohibited Douala Street

A commercial motorbike rider collided with a vehicle at Rue Koloko on October 21, 2013.

A female passenger on board a commercial motorbike lived bitter moments yesterday Monday October 21 morning. She sustained a fracture and bruises on her right leg after an accident along Rue Koloko, at the entrance to Bonapriso from Shell New Bell.

According to eye witnesses, the bike rider while descending did not notice a Carina E car making its entrance into the main road. In dodging the car, the bike rider crashed into a nearby bush, causing his machine to fall.

Well-wishers immediately rushed to the accident scene, trying to apply First Aid measures. It would be recalled that commercial motorbikes are forbidden in certain parts of Douala, including Bonapriso.
