A tarpaulin thief arrested at the Port

26 years old Mohammed P was referred to the High Court at Bonanjo this August 22 for aggravated theft.

He was arrested at the port of Douala by the gendarmerie brigade of the North of Akwa, while attempting to steal a tarpaulin on a semi-trailer truck, in the company of five other people who fled at the arrival of the police in the rain.

This overing belongs to Lucas T., truck driver who was sleeping in the big carrier at the time of the theft. He worked on behalf of a local company for the sale of building materials.

During his hearing with the mounted police, the suspect denies the facts and rather said that he wanted to go to the port when he saw "people coming out with the tarpaulin. The final verdict will be giving by the court after the trial.
