Cameroon and France will sign a series of agreements on Friday on the occasion of the working visit to Yaoundé of president François Hollande, according to the official programme made public Wednesday by the civil cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic.

This signing ceremony, with areas not specified, will follow a meeting between the two statesmen, who on that occasion will hold a joint press conference.

During this few hours visit, Mr. Hollande will also have exchanges with local officials, leaders of political parties represented in the National Assembly as well as leaders of human rights organizations.

This short stay will end with a reception of the French community residing in Cameroon as well as a speech which its details are yet to be specified.

Cameroon is the first commercial partner of France in Central Africa, excluding oil and second client (behind Gabon) and second provider (after the Congo) in the sub-region.
