700 youths nationwide to partake Commonwealth Forum

The visiting Director of Youth Affairs Division at the Common wealth secretariat, Katherine Ellis has officially approved Cameroon's bid to host the February 2015 Africa region Commonwealth Youth Ministers meeting.

The approval was made after a satisfactory three-day working visit to evaluate the country’s readiness to host the august event.

The high level encounter will give a rear opportunity for African youths to address their aspirations directly to policy makers. In this light, the Cameroon National Youth council looks forward to mobilize some 700 youths nationwide to take part in a national youth forum that will precede the conference.

The National Youth Council will work in collaboration with the newly created National Organizing committee and the national task force.

Members of the two organs charged with preparations and the logistics of the international meeting were officially installed into their function by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Bidoung Mpkatt.
