54 Nigerian soldiers sentenced to death for refusing to fight Boko Haram

The court martial in Abuja has sentenced to death 54 Nigerian soldiers accused of mutiny for refusing to confront the Boko Haram fighters.

The soldiers who were sentenced constantly complained of the lack of weapons and equipment to deal with Boko Haram in cities they occupy.

The trial of the soldiers that began on October 15 saw five of them acquitted. Also some of the soldiers who refused to fight Boko Haram have sought refuge in Cameroon before returning to Nigeria.

To date the fighters of the sect have killed more than 10,000 people and captured several Nigerian girls under the helpless gaze of administrative authorities and the Nigerian military.

Meanwhile, the 200 high school students abducted in the town of Chibok have still not found, despite the announcement of the arrival of US drones.
