Twenty trucks containing 400 tonnes of foodstuff have been conveyed to the North of Cameroon as assistance to displaced persons and the military, victims of the Boko Haram insurgency.
The Ministers of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation, Rene Emmanuel Sadi and Defence, Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o personally oversaw the take-off of the food consignment from Yaounde yesterday 9th June 2015.
Minister Rene Emmanuel Sadi, head of the commission managing the relief aid saluted the contribution from Cameroonians and general support to the victims and the army on the war front.
The take-off point for the food aid was the military 101 base in Yaounde.
