The Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Zacharie Pérévet, was in the South Region (Ebolowa, Sangmélima, Kribi, Meyonmessala, etc) yesterday to assess the actions taken to create 35,000 new jobs.
The Southern Region is considered a large pool of jobs because of its major projects (agro-industries, the deepwater port of Kribi, the power plant gas, Socapalme).
The figures available to the regional office of the South Employment and Vocational Training have reported 18,148 existing jobs.
In the first half of 2015, the regional service of regulation of labour recorded 4209 jobs created.
