2015 Ozone Layer Day: Activities gain steam in Yaounde

Cameroon will join the international community on 16th September 2015 to commemorate the International Day for the Protection of the Ozone Layer under the theme “30 years of healing the ozone together”.

Prior to the event, activities are taking place at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Craft in Yaounde.

The commemorative activities include quiz competitions on the protection of the Ozone layer and related issues, exhibition of paintings, reciting of poems and staging of sketches.

Participants include students from some secondary schools in Yaounde and stakeholders from both the public and private sectors.
