2600 illegal immigrants were repatriated from the Far North of Cameroon this morning.
According to police sources serving in the Far North Region, 2,600 illegal immigrants have been repatriated from Cameroon in the last 48 hours.
The illegal immigrants were repatriated under military escort, "we transported them aboard a dozen trucks. A safe passage was created to drive them to the Cameroon-Nigeria border," said our source.
Midjiyawa Bakari, the governor of the Far North region, said the repatriation operations would continue throughout the region.
