2.3 billion FCFA mobilized in the fight against Boko Haram

The fourth session of the ad hoc Committee responsible for the management of donations to the defense forces and the victims of Boko Haram attacks, have revealed that 2.3 billion FCFA has already been mobilized in the fight against the insurgents.

According to Emergence, “approximately 2.3 billion FCFA is the current overall amount of the special allocation in the account opened by the head of State in support of soldiers and people in the fight against Boko Haram.”

A prize pool that will undoubtedly increase will send in their cash assistance as announced by René Emmanuel Sadi, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization (Minadt), also Chairman of the Committee, foreign partners of Cameroon.

René Emmanuel Sadi took advantage of this meeting to take stock of other donations in kind.

"Currently, 1000 tons of foodstuff, consisting of water preserves and food, have so far been distributed.
