The Cameroonian renowned guitarist, Vincent Nguini is set to perform in Yaoundé in a few days.

In the instrumentalist's spot in Yaounde, he will perform together with his Macase group located in Bastos to indulge in his favourite exercise which is creating beautiful rhythms.

He arrived in Obala, his native town. He was caught up by reporters from CT as soon as he was spotted and was interviewed.

He will perform on Saturday at the "Club Bantou", located between Carrefour Belibi and Chapelle Emombo. The event is almost unprecedented.

The last time we heard notes escape from his guitar was at a concert in Cameroon a long time ago. The reputation of the Cameroonian guitarist remained well anchored on stages around the world, backed by nearly 25 years of tour with Paul Simon.

The American singer of folk, rock and world music is undoubtedly his main orientation but the Cameroonian artiste has his touch from other superstars such as Paul McCartney, George Benson, Earl Klugh, Aaron Neville, etc.

With a glass of cool water to fight the fiery heat of which he complains about, Vincent Nguini who did not hesitate to smoke in the open recalled the years he decided to move from the battery to the electronic guitar.

He said he toured Africa with 'Maloko', a collaboration he did with Manu Dibango for five years.
