‘Kasting Kribi’ competition comes to an end

After five weeks of competition, the curtains have finally been drawn for the ‘Kribi Kasting’ cultural event with new talents identified.

Franck Kidjina and Kilambongo proved themselves worthy during the competition. The Cameroonian art scene will perhaps do with them in the future. Their talent has not left anyone indifferent.

The magical voice of Franck Kidjina delighted the audience of Kribi and a dance by Kilambongo, ‘the snake-dancer’ amazed many. Both were recently winners sacred "Kribi Kasting." In addition to the cash prizes, they will feature in a single and video which will be shot on the beach.

The event organized by the International Etherna Group gathered 120 budding artists excelling in various fields of art to make them known to the public.

A national tour has been planned for Franck Kidjina and the best five dancers of this edition. And like killing two birds with one stone, Etherna seeks to use this opportunity to select the competitors for the 2016 edition.

The group's ambition is however more than that. In addition to the recording studio already set up, they eventually settled in Kribi, Cameroon's cultural capital, for exhibitions, shows and fundraising.
