The artiste and radio host, Koppo, whose real name is Patrice Minko'o is one of the winners of ‘visa pour la création’, a residency program of French cultural network for young talents who have stayed in Paris for nearly 3 months.
The rapper who was revealed to the Cameroonian public in 2003 with his first album, ‘Je go (si tu vois ma go)’, accepted the invitation to be on Rencontre Avec l’Artiste (R.A.A) on diaf -tv .
Along with the host, Aline, he discussed the success he has had with his first album, his relationship with Blick Bassy, reasons for his silence since 2003, his relationship with his parents and when he had to make a choice between doing music and the university at Ngoa Ekélé (University of Yaounde 1).
He also talked about his ‘landing’ into radio and his decision to apply for the ‘visa pour la création’ project.
