Sodecoton offers 3 billion FCfa contract to insurance companies

Three Cameroonian insurance companies have been declared successful tenderers for an insurance damage at Cotton Development Corporation (Sodecoton), for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017, according to an official statement from government.

More than 50% of this contract, a little more than one billion FCfa, was accorded to the Cameroon subsidiary of Saham, for 577.5 million FCfa. Activa assurances were awarded 262.5 billion FCfa while 210 million FCfa was presented to Zenith Insurance.

Chanas insurance, former leader of the insurance market o in Cameroon, enmeshed in recent years in internal leadership disputes, failed to acquires a market, in the same way as other applicants such as Nsia, Saar, Area, etc.
