The Internet, offers businesses the opportunity to save time and get quality in the examination of CV’s.

Companies who request for only 10 recruits are usually faced with over 10 000 candidates.

Didier Ndoheu, Co-Director of Everjobs Cameroon, highlighted the big problem posed by employers; too many jobseekers apply for the advertised posts which makes the recruitment time-consuming. And to simplify the process, the online recruiting Web site has implemented a set of tools in order to assist both the companies and job seekers, since July.

First was a filtering system with criteria such as age, work experience, desired salary, residence and current employment situation. These filters, for Owen Cabon, another Co-Director of Everjobs, “are not intended to eliminate candidates. It is to allow companies to better select, according to their expectations.”

Moreover, to make the request easier, a team was set to assist applicants of job offers to improve their CVs and to better sell through personalized emails. These mail alerts is to enrich a particular section of the resume of a candidate. On the curriculum, there are 10 500 people currently on the Cameroon Everjobs site, with an average increase of 200 per day.

The researcher's job coaching policy is also materialized by the job log, a topic that gives practical advice to increase the chances of being recruited (how to succeed an interview, how to manage stress, etc.). Even aspects of everyday life are taken into account, management of the family business, for example, is a toolkit to provide the best possible profile to the recruiter.
