The Cameroonian Minister of Commerce has addressed economic operators on the supply of commercial space with low-priced products, during a consultation meeting on August 21 in Yaoundé.

Few weeks to the start of the next school year, the Cameroonian authorities are committed to 'reduce the weight' of this back to school on the people. Pending the agreement at the services of the Prime Minister, which is expected to be confirmed at a meeting, the Cameroonian Minister of Trade and Economic Operators has operated to organize the start of commercial activities since August 21 in Yaoundé

The Minister, Luc Magloire Atangana Mbarga, unveiled the idea of commercial kick off. The concept is to supply the commercial space with low-priced products. Economic operators or producers will participate in the operation on September 15 and they must have substantial stocks. This government support is based on economic stagnation.

Traders reassured the Cameroonian authorities on the availability of stocks. They contended for a secure trade Caravan. Especially since this caravan will be deployed in the strategic points within towns and cities of the country with the idea of getting closer to the consumer, confirmed the Cameroonian Minister of trade.

Seizing this opportunity to dialogue, economic operators place the thread of their difficulties because of importers who practise Low Cost Policy. So far, they sell their products on the market at a loss.
Cameroon, Oilseeds Refiners Association (Asroc) argued that as a result of government measures, relating to remediation of the business environment, quality oil plants are available in commercial spaces.

On the other hand, this development has led to uniformity of commercial space emphasized by the Secretary General of Asroc, Jacques Kemleu Tchabgou. "It is the survival of our economy", reiterated the Cameroonian Minister for Commerce who appreciates its fair value of "multiplication of the soaps" that led to approval of the price of oilseeds.

On the quality of vegetable oils, president of the consumers League said, it is for the benefit of economic operators and the government that a psychosis prevails within the consumer. “All oils are not enriched,” reassured the Secretary General of Asroc.

Now, the government has addressed economic operators. They offered “the stock and agreed with the concept of commercial re-opening to strengthen the understanding between national industrialists and consumers,” said the Cameroonian Minister of commerce.
