Fisc records excess of 45 billion CFA in its revenue collection in the first quarter

At end of March 2015, Directorate-General of taxation (DGI) at the Cameroonian Ministry of Finance collected 570 billion Cfa francs of revenue with a forecasts of 525 billion Cfa francs, recording an excess of 45 billion Cfa francs.

This was revealed following a coordination meeting organized by DGI May 11, 2015, in Bamenda, in the Northwest region of the country.

This performance, argued the IMB, is associated with a set of reforms implemented for nearly a year in this administration. At the forefront of these reforms, can be cited the creation and propagation of the centres of tax of the medium-sized enterprises (Cime) for the follow-up of SMEs that represent 85% of Cameroonian companies, the possibility of completing his return via the net, or even the payment of property tax via mobile.

As a reminder, the budget of the State of Cameroon on behalf of 2015fiscal year, is balanced in revenue and expenditure to the sum of 3 476.6 billion Cfa francs, of which more than 2000 billion Cfa francs will be mobilized through the collection of tax and customs revenues.
