CEO of the Bocom Group (distribution of petroleum products and industrial waste) and Cameroonian industrialist, Dieudonné Bougne, has planned to venture into the local transformation of iron.

This was indicated in a legal advertisement on August 3, 2015, revealing the creation of the Cameroon Steel Manufacturing Company by Dieudonné Bougne.

This company, officially founded in December 2014 with a capital of 10 million FCfa, has as objective: "The development of an iron plant" in Cameroon.

It is headed by Njontu Bogne Rostand, who before becoming a docker in the port of Douala, work as ‘manoeuvre’ in the sand quarries.

As a reminder, the Cameroonian mining code requires that at least 15% of the extracted ores of the Cameroonian basement is locally transformed. An area in which the CEO of Bocom Group intends to tackle.
