Cameroon oil production is expected to fall to 65 000 barrels per day in 2018

Current oil production observed in Cameroon should be short-lived. Indeed, after the crossing for the first time since 2002, of the bar of 100,000 barrels per day in the first four months of the year 2015, the rate of production will fall to 65,000 barrels per day in the year 2018.

The information was revealed by the American rating agency Standard & Poors (S & P), which cited forecasts of the Cameroon Government, including the secular arm in the exploration and exploitation of petroleum resources is the national company of hydrocarbons (SNH).

However, in the immediate future, the public company projections, oil production in Cameroon is expected to double by 2016, about 57 million barrels, against 27 million barrels in 2014 and 24.4 million barrels in 2013.
