On the sidelines of the exhibition Planète SME in France which took place from 17 to 18 June 2015, the company Entreprises du Cameroun (E.Cam) and the General Confederation of small and medium-sized French companies (CGPME) signed a framework partnership agreement to establish relations of cooperation and collaboration in the economic, trade and cultural fields.

Protais Ayangma (president of E. Cam,) and François Asselin (president of the CGPME) undertook to work "to promote meetings of economic operators and in relation to entrepreneurs in their respective countries, with a view to promote trade, investment, the creation of projects including the transfer of technologies, the creation of stable employment and the protection of the environment".

In addition, both parties will now collaborate "for the organisation of meetings between the representatives of E - Cam, the representatives of CGPME and the French companies wishing to internationalize their activities or develop partnerships with Cameroonian enterprises, and conversely, to Cameroonian companies wishing to internationalize their activities".

The CGPME is an interprofessional employer organization, private and independent, representing French SMEs. Same in Cameroon with E.Cam, which presents itself as the voice of Cameroonian SMEs.
