Camair-Co dispels rumors about its fleet

The “ Dja” will return shortly, while one of the 737 belonging to the company is sent for servicing.

The communication of this information from the airline was formal: “Dja” which went for servicing a few weeks ago in the workshops of Ethiopian Airlines, shall return home shortly to resume flights.

According to officials who met on Monday May 25 in Douala by CT, relative tension has existed for some time because the company that is doing the maintenance, informed Camair-Co that now that it has extended its operations to other places, especially Israel, the company should pay the amount of about "one billion francs" that they owed him.

"While we usually pay by treaties, and we honour them all", noted a collaborator of the DG of Camair-Co. Note that in the meantime, the airline leased a Boeing 737-500 to the Egypt Air company, had to overcome the absence of the above-mentioned super-jumbo.

What then is this information suggesting that two aircraft of the Camair-Co are nailed to the ground? "It is false," says our source, which explains that in fact, at the time of the maintenance of one of the 737 of the company arrived, the aircraft had not started operating. The procedure is currently at the administrative stage, inter alia, obtaining the visas.

The Cameroonian company will continue to settle its debt by treaties, but already, the “Dja” has been released.
