Buetec to pump 650m CFA F into European market project

Buetec, company specialized in knitting, dyeing and manufacturing, which currently serves the market leader of promotional items such as T-shirt and polo shirts in Cameroon, has just developed an investment plan of 650 million Cfa francs, to tackle a new market on which Buetec seeks to export 100% of Cameroonian items by 2017, an authoritative source revealed.

According to this plan, 250 million Cfa francs will be invested in emergency, to improve productivity and the production capacity of the company, while 450 million Cfa francs will be invested in a period between 1 and 2 years, in order to increase the capacity of production for export to Europe.

Thanks to these investments and exports to Europe, this Cameroonian company that imports wire from India, due to the limitations of the local yarn for knitting, aims to quadruple its current turnover over a period of 5 years, the exports accounting for 60% of total sales. In 2014, the company announced a turnover of 700 million Cfa francs.
