The International Bank of Cameroon for loans and Crédit (BICEC) realized a net profit of more than 14 billion francs by December 31, 2014 which is an increase of 7.8% over the previous year announced the Board of Directors of the Bank in an official communiqué on July 14, 2015.
According to the same source, the Cameroon subsidiary of the French banking group Banque populaire has decided to allocate 1.5 billion to “Fund for general banking risks” and to distribute 11 billion Cfa francs to shareholders as a dividend. It was clearly stated that shareholders will receive 36 666 Cfa francs per share excluding tax.
“With the net result, a net banking product which rose by 9.3% last year with gross operating income increasing from 10% to 27 billion Cfa francs at the end of 2014 BICEC fiscal year”, said the Board of Directors who are the forefront of banks in Cameroon and in the CEMAC zone.
