A delegation of 20 Cameroonian coffee producers will travel to Milan, Italy, in September 2015, announced the Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Atangana Mbarga.
These operators intend to use the World Expo, in the Italian city, as an opportunity to establish business contacts with a view of finding new outlets in roasted coffee in Cameroon.
Cameroonian coffee roasters, who are mostly locals, will travel to Milan which has been crowned with three awards won in Africa, in Paris in June 2015 and France during the first roasted coffees competition in countries of origin, organized by the Agency for the development of agricultural products (AVPA.
Among the few countries in the world to produce both varieties of Arabica and Robusta, Cameroon’s coffee sector even though has faced some difficulties since the late 90s, it also has the reputation of harvesting coffee which has both a good fragrance and a delicious taste.
