400 Km from Addis Ababa is Bahir Dar, where the Junior indomitable Lionesses will compete in next Sunday's match against Lucy, the Ethiopian selection of the same category.
They arrived Thursday morning at Bahir Dar, after 40 minutes of flight, and were treated to a warm welcome.
Marvel Charles Kamdem, the coach of the junior Lioness noted: "we got here in Ethiopia, 48 hours ago. I must say that we had an extremely warm welcome in Bahir Dar. It was exceptional, and this testifies the great African solidarity. I have traveled and I have not yet seen this type of welcome. It is a sign of friendship and hope that it will continue like this to the end," he hoped in an interview with Leocadia Bongben, Team press Officer of the team.
The delegation of Cameroon is located at the Ben Mas Hotel in Bahir Dar and this has not diverted the attention of the team with the mission of winning the match or having at least a draw with goal to qualify for the second round.
"The girls arrived well, they are ready. We will continue the preparation for Sunday's game in serenity," thought Charles Kamdem.
"The first match has passed. We have learned our lessons. We had ball possession but, it wasn't the most. We need to score plenty of goals. We spent the rest of time working before the goals knowing that Sunday will not be easy. I have confidence in our players. They will be able to score goals, especially when the opponent is going to open the game, because they are playing at home. We will thus try to surprise them," believed the technician.
