While it had planned to distribute 60.3 billion Cfa francs in respect to communal surcharges in 2014, Feicom has stated that it has succeeded in giving Cameroonian communities a total amount of 76.6 billion Cfa francs.
Feicom officials attributed this presentation for a more efficient revenue collection which consist of communal surcharges and other communal taxes subject to equalization (CPSI); performances that could have been otherwise improved or at least renewed this year.
According to figures revealed by Feicom, the Bank of Cameroonian communities, the recovery of revenues in the first half of 2015 reached 68.4 billion Cfa francs in late June against initial forecasts of slightly more than 50 billion Cfa francs.
