Entitled To ‘Sweetness’ Not ‘Bitterness’

“When they came to the oasis of Marah, the water was so bitter to drink to drink. So they called the place Marah (which means “bitter”). Then the people complained and turned against Moses. ‘What are we going to drink?’ they demanded. So Moses cried out to the Lord to help, and the lord showed him a piece of wood. Moses threw it into the water and this made the water good to drink”. Exodus 15:23-25

After God had used Moses to escape the Israelites from the wrath and inhumane of Pharaoh via the red sea, they moved on and settled at an oasis where they became very thirsty. Launching on the oasis for a drink, the water was undrinkable because it was bitter. Such bitterness infuriated the people to turn against Moses because they realize thirst could wreak havoc on them.

Moses then cried to God via prayers and faith for directions. Miraculously, God was with them when he commanded Moses to throw a wood into the water where it became good to drink.

Clearly, anything bitter makes life unbalanced. I don’t know your bitterest experiences or happenings. There could be a possibility that you have gone through a lot of sorrow bitterness while between yourself and God, you did your best to remedy it, however nothing positive has come out from it.

Funny enough, others have turned against you by way of mocking and wish that you live with bitterness all your life. News flash; God from today has replaced every ‘bitterness’ surrounding your life with ‘sweetness’ in Jesus’ Name. Proclaim it; I welcome sweetness into my life and bye-bye to bitterness. I believe you have been touched by this piece also. If so, share it to friends all over to know the truth and God bless you for such an effort.
